Music Tuition
The Soċjeta’ Filarmonika L-Unjoni strives to offer a professional musical education to a substantial number of students who are members of its school of music and also to our established musicians, by organising various masterclasses focusing on woodwind and brass instruments. Music lessons are provided in both music theory and practice. From time to time, young musicians are given the opportunity to play alongside established musicians from the same band so that they can enhance their learning and gain useful experience in working with a group of musicians and the other various aspects of good musicianship.
Lessons are held at our Club premises and our teachers are;
- John David Zammit – woodwind instruments;
- Norbert Camilleri – woodwind instruments and theory;
- Victor Borg – brass instruments;
- Rene’ Barbara – brass instruments;
- Patrick Camilleri – percussion instruments.
